I thought of Mrs. Tedeski as I’m brushing up on my Spanish and learned about her passing away. She was kind, affectionate, generous, and humorous. I’m fortunate to have met her at Kennedy where she was my teacher for two years. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Dear Ricardo, Lenny, Leilani, Kirk, Rex, We are so sorry for your loss in the passing of dear Bertha. We’ve been living next-door to Bertha and Ricardo for about 15 years. Bertha will always be remembered for also being a great neighbor. For years we have enjoyed her holiday party where she opened up her home to the neighbors, and we will continue that tradition now in her memory. We were grateful to hear that her passing was so peaceful and that she had been enjoying her family and friends on one of her many wonderful trips. I am so sorry to hear about Bertha. She was a wonderful teacher and a kind and caring person, She was always so positive with everything and always calm. I saw her recently this year and, as always, she looked beautiful. I send my sympathy to her families and friends. I know she had a full and happy life, May this knowledge help heal those who mourn. I was so sorry to hear this sad news. Bertha was a long time friend. I loved her. She was a shining light when she came into a room, always with a smile and greetings for everyone. We worked together at Kennedy High School. She was loved by the staff and students. I know she affected the lives of many students in a positive way. May God bless her soul.
