Obituary of Adoracion "Doris" Delago Lunasin

Adoracion Delago Lunasin, 76 years old, suddenly departed this life to be with the Lord Almighty on May 23, 2023.

Adoracion was born to late Ricardo Delago and Juanita Arcinas Delago on June 22, 1946 in 155 th , Station Hospital, Madaluyong, Rizal, Philippines.

Her education consisted of being the top of the class, graduating as Valedictorian and President of her class starting from elementary consistently through college. She had earned a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, a Masters Degree in Business Administration and continued on to pursue her PhD in Engineering.

During her employment at Witco Company, she was awarded the Stratmore’s WHO’s WHO Honors for Leadership and Achievement.

She is survived by her loving husband Ricardo Agahan Lunasin and her two children: her oldest daughter - Jeanette Astilla and husband Francis Astilla and their daughters, Trinity and Tiffany Astilla; and her youngest daughter Janelle Cabal and her husband Arnold Cabal and their children Jayden and Alyssa Cabal.

Adoracion’s siblings are Tessie Endoso (with spouse Danilo Endoso Sr), Ellen Alcaraz (with spouse Edgar Alcaraz), Wiliiam Delago (with spouse Angelita Delago) and Alvin Alvarez (with spouse Regine Alvarez). She has numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and other extended family scattered throughout the United States and in the Philippines.

Adoracion was a devoted catholic and devoted wife. She was hardworking, loving, kind, caring and generous. She was into researching how to improve their health and planning their daily activities.

Her viewing will be at Rose Family Funeral Home located at 4444 Cochran St, Simi Valley, CA 93063, phone (805) 581-3800 on June 5 and June 6, 2023 from 5pm-9pm. The Holy Rosary will be said on June 6, 2023 at 7pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on June 7, 2023 10am at St Peter Claver Catholic Church located at 2380 Stow St Simi Valley CA 93063 followed by her burial at Assumption Cemetery located at 1380 Fitzgerald Rd., Simi Valley, Ventura County, CA 93065.
