Obituary of Jaime Morales
The Morales family is heartbroken to announce the passing of their beloved patriarch, Jaime Morales, who passed after a prolonged illness on April 12, 2023 in his Simi Valley home, surrounded by his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and honorary “Ito” to countless children throughout his life. Born to Luis and Magdalena in Tendeparacua, Michoacan, Mexico on July 15, 1938, he came to the states to pursue a greater life. After settling in Southern California, he met and married Socorro, and raised a family here.
Jaime was an avid reader, amateur photographer, and someone who valued hard work. He was a friend to all he met and will be missed greatly by those closest to him. Jaime is survived by his wife Socorro; his children Daniel, Victor, Julio, Jaime, Hugo and his wife Salina; and his grandchildren Victor, Andrina and her husband Kevin, Alicia, Evette, and Luis. He is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Gabriela.
Join the family for a viewing at Rose Family Mortuary on Thursday, May 11 from 5-9 PM. There will be a rosary at 7pm. A mass service will take place at St. Peter Claver Church on Friday, May 12 at 10 AM, followed by a burial at Simi Valley Public Cemetery, and reception at Elks Lodge.
The Morales family thanks you for your support during this difficult time.
