Obituary of Dennis Val Marshall

Please share a memory of Dennis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Dennis Val Marshall died peacefully on September 17, 2022 in Simi Valley, California at the age of 68.

Dennis is survived by his brothers, J.R. Marshall, Darrell Marshall, Chris Marshall and Robert Marshall. As well as his nieces and nephews, Jessica Catledge, Heather Talley, Kirsten Melcher, Megan Marshall, Bryce Baker, Conrad Lillywhite, Tosha Ramirez, Cody Lillywhite and many great nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Shirley Marshall and his sister, Candace Lillywhite.

Dennis was born on October 6, 1953 in Ogden, Utah to Russell and Shirley Marshall.  After high school he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Tulsa Oklahoma Mission.  Upon returning from serving the Lord and people of Oklahoma, he spent some time working for Southern California Edison and an alarm company before starting up and building his business, AquaDynamics.  Dennis was a true patriot who loved his country and helped those in need with the many charities he sponsored.  He loved his animals, travel and found joy in the gospel of Jesus Christ and in his family.  Especially his nephews and nieces, making it a point to be at as many birthdays, blessings, baptisms and other important events as he could.  He enjoyed spending time at his favorite place, his cabin in Swain's Creek, Utah, always looking for ways to make improvements and find fun
activities to do with his family.  He loved sharing his love for the cabin with his friends and family, providing them with activities, memories and traditions to last a lifetime.

All are welcome at a graveside service to celebrate Dennis' life on October 3, 2022 at 11 AM at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
