Fran was always Mrs. Shelley to me. Growing up as part of the extended Shelley family from age 3 yrs or so, she always made me feel welcomed and loved. The front door was literally always open to me. I have many fond memories of Fran and the many good times and trips taken with the family, especially those to good old cabin 82 in Yosemite during many Summers growing up. Fun times with the whole family. Mrs. Shelley was a kind and loving rock. Her laugh was contagious and her wisdom and wit always present. Her piano and love of music will always be appreciated and remembered. I will miss her greatly but I am so thankful for having been able to grow up with her as a very important aspect of my life and a great and positive influence. Love to Fran and the family always. I grew up in Cincinnati. Her son Francis was my best friend and we still keep in touch. The one thing I always missed when they moved to California was Her Laugh. She will be missed here in Ohio. Love always Mike Scherpenberg and family

My first and only "Pen Pal" was my Aunt Fran, in the many letters that I received were words of encouragement & wisdom that will never be forgotten. We will always treasure the many great family gatherings, the famous Easter egg hunt looking for the "Golden Egg". There were so many great stories told by Aunt Fran thru the years, and her laugh was contagious! Thank You Aunt Fran for the decades of fun, laughter & many wonderful memories that we will treasure for a lifetime! Love, David & Marta Bunnell

I grew up in the Shelley’s home. Mom Fran treated like I was the 8th and I loved it. I would go to saint Judes when Pat was an Alter Boy and mom was playing. Fran played for both my grandparents ceremonies. Ann Tommy Mooreen Danny Francis Pat Joey (yes Joey) Several Scottys And dad. Thanks for all the good stuff! John W Baldasti
