Obituary of Katheryn Mary Passero

Katheryn Mary Passero, 71, of Simi Valley, California, passed away on August 14, 2021, in Simi Valley, California. The memorial service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home, 4444 Cochran Street, Simi Valley, California on August 27, 2021 at 11:45 am - 12:30 pm. Katheryn was born in Inglewood, California, to Arturo S. Passero and Katheryn M Passero, on June 27, 1950. She attended high school at Louisville in Woodland Hills, California, class of 1968. She had her first and only child at the age of 22, in 1972. She then went on to work as a bookkeeper and business accountant for over forty years. After travelling overseas multiple times throughout years, she was lucky enough to complete the circumnavigation of South America, as well as crossing the equator and going through the Panama Canal by ship, arriving back in the U.S. in early March 2020. As such, she was on one of the last flights back from her Miami terminus prior to complete lockdown. She enjoyed life to the fullest, and always strove to overcome any and every obstacle. She always saw the best in people, evident by her life-ling friendships with classmates from first and second grade. Katheryn is survived by her daughter Kahroliné (Carol) di Passero, her sister and nephew Charlotte and Jeffrey Hyatt
