Denise has been on my mind lately. I miss her dearly. My Son had her as an Aide in his Special Needs classroom, for many years, and we were fortunate to have her as a Respite Provider in our home, as well. My Son prays that Denise visits his Father, (who also passed away from cancer around the same time), in heaven. He also believes that Denise is playing with our late dog that Denise loved...Koko.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Denise's passing! She and I worked together at Hughes Aircraft and remained friends for many years. We were pregnant at the same time with our daughters and I visited them a few times after I moved to Maryland. I have been thinking of her because I always remember her birthday in April and am sorry i missed it last year. My deepest condolences to her family; Bruce, Emily, Elliot, Joyce and those whom I have not met! I am just heartbroken!

So very sad about Denise’s passing. She was an aide in my Son’s classroom, worked for our family as a respite provider, and was a good friend. She was a very special person, with a heart of gold. Our family will miss her, dearly.

Kelly thank you so much lovely post regarding my sister. She put up an exceptional fight but unfortunately the cancer went to her brain and there was nothing more the doctors could do. I think I might know of your family since my sister spoke fondly of her Respite kids and their families. She loved them so much and it was very difficult for her to be away from them.
